FRAMINGHAM, MA (TheSkunk.org) — After his controversial performance at the 2012 Republican National Convention, Clint Eastwood has signed a deal to be the spokesperson for Staples, the office supply company that received startup capital from Mitt Romney.

“We are pleased that Mr. Eastwood has agreed to mumble the name of our brand on national television,” said Tom Stemberg, Staples CEO, “and we’re looking forward to confusing the hell out of our customers in the years to come.”

Eastwood said he was pleased to help the retail giant “sell a few more pens and shit like that.”
