WASHINGTON (TheSkunk.org) — On his monthly cognitive assessment, President Trump failed to correctly identify an image of a tiger, referring to it as a “stripey thing.”
According to medical staff, the assessment required the President to identify three common animals: a giraffe, a camel, and a tiger.
When questioned by reporters about the incident, the President defended his performance. “It could be a tiger, sure,” Trump said. “But it could also be a stripey thing. That was my answer, and frankly, anyone can see it was the most correct. It covers all the bases. It’s a very high-level way of looking at it.”
The President further suggested that the doctors were trying to bait him into a mistake. “They try to trap you with the ‘jungle’ talk. But I’m too smart for that. I told them it was a thing with stripes, or just ‘a thing.’ They’ve never seen anything like it.”
White House aides were quick to frame the session as a triumph of intellect. A spokesperson later told the press corps that the President didn’t just pass—he “redefined the parameters of the exam,” noting that he “identified the very concept of ‘stripiness’ at a level rarely seen in the clinical world.”
When asked if he would sit for a more comprehensive neurological evaluation, Trump dismissed the suggestion entirely.
“I already took the hardest one. The doctors—top doctors, the best—they were amazed,” Trump said. “They said, ‘Sir, no one has ever had the instinct to say “stripey thing” before.’ They told me it was a perfect answer. Probably the best answer in the history stripes.”
