Palestinians Prepare for Moon Launch

GAZA CITY — Combining its fleet of homemade rocket-launchers with Iranian missile technology, the Hamas Space Agency (HASA) announced today it has begun the countdown for its first mission to the moon.
“The years of rocket and delivery system experimentation with the Israelis has paid off,” said a HASA spokesperson, “and we are now ready to blast ourselves into the solar system.”
HASA intends to differentiate itself from the space programs of other countries. Rather than orbiting the moon or landing onto its surface, they plan to explode their rocket on impact to see “how big a crater we can make.”
A HASA press release said this mission will put the Palestinians at the forefront of space exploration, and “put an end to Zionist occupation of the lunar planet.”
